Petworth Porchfest is a music festival held on neighbors’ porches. Inspired by other PorchFests throughout DC and eager to connect with their community after a global pandemic, a passionate group of Petworth reside created Petworth PorchFest in the spring of 2021.The event brings together community by offering Petworth residents an opportunity to host local bands on their porch, where residents and visitors can enjoy live music together. Petworth in the Park: Dog Days of Summer

We are reimagining Celebrate Petworth this year and piloting a new event called Petworth in the Park: Dog Days of Summer. The event will feature the popular Petworth Dog Show, live music as well as a bingo raffle, lawn games and other activities for residents of all ages. The event will feature food specials and retail promotions by businesses on Upshur Street.

Art All Night celebrates the visual and performing arts, showcasing the diverse talents of our city's creative community. DC Art All Night 2025 will occur from 4:30 PM to 12:00 AM on a Friday in September. The festival will take place in various Petworth locations including the 800 block of Upshur Street and Georgia Avenue NW. It features visual and performing arts - painting, crafts, music, theater, and comedy - in outdoor public spaces and local businesses.

November 29 | 10 AM–7 PM

Shop local, support Upshur Street businesses, and enter to win Upshur-themed gift baskets! Pick up a passport at participating locations, collect at least five stamps while you shop or dine, and submit it for a chance to win. Winners announced at 8PM.

In partnership with Lulabelle’s and sponsored by Petworth Main Street and Eddie Suarez, this beloved community event features FREE photos with Santa, live entertainment, family activities, and 25 local artisan vendors offering unique holiday gifts. Enjoy giveaways from Mrs. Claus (Petworth Peanuts) and special promotions from neighborhood shops and restaurants.

Experience Upshur Street glowing with luminaries, festive storefronts, holiday treats, and seasonal cheer. A magical evening stroll for all ages!

Join us for the 3rd Annual Holiday Cookie Crawl! Register, check in at Lulabelles, and pick up your cookie passport and collection box. Visit participating businesses, enjoy specials, and collect freshly baked cookies along the way—perfect for gifting, sharing, or savoring.
